Technical skills include: Cerner Classic Micro and Pathology modules, SCC Soft SoftLab, SoftPath, Soft ODBC, and more.
Duties in a medical group consisted of providing and ensuring the maintenance/upkeep of Cerner Classic System for four years. The job involved participating in multiple enterprise-wide upgrades of EMR systems, hardware and software. While serving as liaison to 150 laboratory professionals, responsibilities covered building, modifying and designating tests linked with a reference lab vendor.
Acting as a laboratory generalist in a STAT LAB environment, the day-to-day operational information being processed by the Laboratory Information System was overseen. Functions included providing end user support for 30 PC’s as well as Palm devices.

Main duties consisted of implementing and maintaining Cerner Millennium Core for PharmNet, PathNet. Supporting PathNet and managing PharmNet Retail were key functions. This specialist has extensive clinical healthcare IT experience. Responsibilities involved building and maintaining the Cerner Millenium Core or PathNet and PharmNet. On call tasks for PathNet were also handled. The job consisted of serving as an integration architect for the implementation of Cerner Millennium PathNet and PharmNet.
Notable tasks included designing and building result access pathways for physicians and other healthcare professionals who view results in SMS INVISION. Key roles involved participating in the design and development of an interface that allowed Medical Records reports to be viewed in SMS INVISION. Application support was provided for interfaces and result display pathways, especially Cerner lab results. Experience in HL7, image and proprietary formats was also applied.
