MEDITECH’s Radiology Information System (RIS) is one of the clinical applications in the company’s enterprise-wide Health Care Information System.
MEDITECH’s Imaging and Documentation Management solution improves the efficiency of diagnostic imaging departments with tools to streamline workflows, manage workloads, and coordinate patient care from ordering through results reporting.
MEDITECH RIS is capable of interfacing with PACS for digital image transmission, and it supports the MEDITECH Internet Gateway giving Web access to results and reports. Hardware platforms supported are limited to two vendors’ systems, and RIS does not support voice recognition systems.
