What Our Clients have to Say

Success Stories

We were in the process of implementing our Meditech Client Server EMR System and were in need of a developer with experience with the Meditech Materials Management module. The Thor Group was able to provide a developer who was highly experienced in Meditech MM module building. This consultant was very organized and had a high attention to detail in his approach to the project. We were able to get this important module fully functional in less time than we anticipated.

Our company was looking to hire an IT Director that had distribution industry experience. We were very pleased with the attention to the position criteria provided by the Thor team. They helped us fill this position with an individual who met our specific needs. We will be happy work with Thor again when need arises.

We needed to fill in various IT positions, most specifically for our programming and networking related projects. These needs led us to engaging The Thor Group to assist in providing these resources. On the programming side, Thor assisted us with our NT and AS/400 projects which involved sales, manufacturing and internet applications. In networking, Thor was able to provide us with an excellent NT Administrator. Also just recently, they helped us find an IT Executive Director that was the right fit. Thor has been a very reliable resource provider and we definitely recommend their services.

The Thor Group has been a valuable resource for the IT side of our company. The Thor Group was responsible for finding our Executive Director of Information Technology. The Thor Group has been a very good resource for us, and we definitely recommend their company.

Our company had only two Directors on staff in the IT department. We needed to hire 30 plus people, a combination of regular hires and contractors to quickly get the IT department up and running live by January 1, 1998. We would lose $12-14 million in revenues each month if the systems were not up and running “”live””. With Thor’s methodology, we were able to staff our core internal group of 13-15 people and add an additional 10-15 contractors to do skill transfers. The positions ranged from PeopleSoft Project Manager, Sr. Financial Analyst, Sr. HP9000 UNIX Administrator Sybase/Oracle DBA’s, PowerBuilder Programmer Analyst, Sr. Security Architect to Network Support Analyst and PC Helpdesk. Our organization has been very impressed with Thor’s quick response with high quality candidates. The Thor’s interview to hire ratio has averaged 2-3 interviews to 1 hire (regular hire) and 2 interviews to 1 hire for contractors.

Our healthcare organization had experienced a serious issue regarding an ongoing System 32 installation. Our key operator left the company with very short notice. This vacancy created an emergency need for a substitute professional so as not to jeopardize our vital data processing needs of the company. Thankfully enough, a candidate was referred by The Thor Group and immediately hired.
